When I retired three years ago, I didn’t really know what would come next. But I did know it wouldn’t be a C-level role in another tech start-up. After a long career of helping companies like Cisco change the world, I had “been there, done that.” It would take wild horses for me to change my mind.

When I retired three years ago, I didn’t really know what would come next. But I did know it wouldn’t be a C-level role in another tech start-up. After a long career of helping companies like Cisco change the world, I had “been there, done that.” It would take wild horses for me to change my mind.

And then, I was introduced to Graphiant Networks. I immediately saw that same magic that a young Cisco had 35 years ago as they began transforming the networking world.

Trust me – I’ve seen this before. Graphiant is going to change everything.

But its more than that. It is also the team. Founder Khalid Raza, a long-time rock star at Cisco, has gotten the band back together from Viptela (the company he co-founded to introduce SD-WAN).

Graphiant has the right people with the right vision. Having Khalid Raza as a founder and a Chief Product Officer like Ali Shaikh, guys who “have done it before,” instills a sense of confidence that cannot be matched. And now (courtesy of wild horses), I’ve joined the team.

I’m Graphiant’s Chief Business Officer. That basically means I do whatever it takes to make our customers, partners, employees, and Graphiant successful. If that means using the relationships I’ve built over 35 years in technology to deliver solutions, that’s what I’ll do. If it means sweeping the floors, that’s what I’ll do. At Graphiant, checking your ego at the door is required!

I’m excited to be back at a company that will revolutionize business through technology and change the face of networking. This is going to be fun!
